Moving to Michigan in 1993 from Appleton, Wisconsin, Wade found a new passion for soccer. His 3 children were involved started to become involved with soccer as well as his wife and he decided to join them. His coaching philosophy is to keep it simple and to always have fun. He says that if a player isn't smiling or having fun, then he isn't doing his job properly. His favorite soccer memory is watching how the kids mature on the field, using the tips and drills taught during practices. Aside from Wade's day job, he enjoys spending time with his family, running and biking.
